Happy last week of 2022! Is it me, or did this year fly by? As you sit back and think of this past year, what comes to mind? For me it’s few things…
- Did I accomplish all I wanted to?
- What were the positives?
- What were the negatives and how can those be used to build more positives in 2023?
- Can I use this last week to wrap up those goals and check them off as completed?
As I enjoy an afternoon cup of coffee and write this post, I am reflecting on 2022. It was a great year. I continued on my health journey, continuing my lifestyle with fasting. Fasting has been such a positive change for me over the last two years. I can’t even believe I have been fasting for that long. It has become second nature now. Did I enjoy the holiday? I sure did! Did I eat lots of good food? You bet! Do I feel guilty? I do not. With fasting I know that I will balance back out and be back to where I want to be in no time at all.

- Where do you see yourself at the end of 2023?
- How will you get there?
Additionally, one of the biggest mindset changes for me when I started my fasting journey is I began to envision myself and what I would look like at once I got where I knew I could get. Seeing myself as I was meant to be, not who I currently was helped me keep my vision alive. It wasn’t east, it still isn’t easy at times. One day at a time, one minute at a time. It’s ok to have a bad day and start fresh the next day.
Lastly, as we close out the first day of the last week of 2022, lets finish this year off strong. Crush your remaining goals. Use this week to focus, relax and reboot.
