It is hard to believe that I have not posted in over 2 months! Where has the time gone? I am guilty of getting really busy with work and not having time for anything else. It has been one crazy ride to get through spring… a ride I am thankful for.
I have kept fasting along the way. Afterall – I have been fasting for so long now that it is second nature and more muscle memory than anything having to think about. I have transistioned to mostly OMAD due to my crazy work schedule this spring, usually eating late afternoon or early evening. More 24 hour fasts are happening then not lately as well and I have found them to be super easy and they make me feel amazing.
I have also found that taking suppliments to help the salt intake are helping tremendously. They are helping my body absorb the water better then it has in the past. With the amount of water going out during the hot months, it’s important to replenish properly.
Onto todays tip – During your fast – try taking an electrolyte suppliment to see how you feel. They have helped me maintain my fasts a little longer, absorb the water better and in general feel better. Often times I am not hungry, I am dehydrated due to lack of electrolytes going back into the body during these months where we sweat more than usual.
Remember to take some time and enjoy the beauty of the seasons. I like to enjoy my coffee in the morning while looking at all the colors that the seasons have to offer us. Enjoy it while we have it – afterall winter is on the way!
