Spring, is that really you?

Well, here we are nearing the end of March. Mother nature can’t make up her mind like usual. Old man winter keeps coming back and storming out like they are in a fight. Typical March pattern that we want to end and move onto spring already.

The longer daylight hours sure help. This has not changed my fasting routine as we are still going strong and maintaining nicely. I find the more water I drink, the easier that is. The running has been going good. Another couple races this weekend hopefully the weather holds out.

Coffee – I love coffee. I like all coffee but I love good coffee. There really is nothing better than a nice hot cup of coffee after your run. It really hits the spot differently then if you just rolled out of bed and right into a cup of coffee. Coffee has also helped me along my fasting journey. When you need to go another hour or two longer a coffee is a great option. Remember though, black no cream or sugar!

What do you have planned to stay active this spring and summer to achieve your goals? Lots of hiking and running is on tap for me. As well as working outside. It’s really a great time of year.

Lastly lets wrap this blog up with a little saying I like. “If it were easy, everyone would do it.” Remember, it’s a journey and it will not always be easy. Not everyday is perfect. There will be challenges. One small step to improve in the right direction is still a step in the right direction of progress!
